Bottle capacity and monthly allowances are different
Bottle capacity is how many bottles you can hold, not how many wine names you can save. Six bottles of the same wine count as six. The Free plan has one cellar and 50 bottles; Premium has five cellars and 500 bottles; Collector has unlimited cellars and bottle capacity.
Cella questions, bottle profiles and wine-list scans have separate monthly allowances. An unused wine-list scan cannot be used as an extra Cella question. Check the current allowances in your account before a large batch.
Check your plan and usage
- Open Settings and choose Subscription.
- Read Current plan and its status. Under Monthly allowances, check Cella questions, Bottle profiles and Wine list scans.
- For available plans, choose Compare plans. Review both the capacity and monthly features you need.
- After a plan change, return to Settings → Subscription to check the active plan.
What to do when you reach a limit
- Bottle capacity: check for accidental duplicate additions and correct any stock errors. Choose a larger plan if the count is accurate and you need more room.
- Cellar capacity: use racks or fridges within a cellar layout when you only need to distinguish physical storage areas. Separate cellars are useful for distinct collections or sharing arrangements.
- Bottle profiles: choose a wine already in Search database if it is available. Enter a wine needs a profile allowance; it is not a way around that limit.
- Cella or wine-list allowance: wait for the next monthly allowance or compare plans. Starting a new chat does not reset usage.
If the displayed allowance looks wrong
Refresh the page and check that you are signed into the account that holds the subscription. If the plan or allowance is still wrong, contact support with the account email, the feature, the displayed allowance and the date of any recent plan change.
