4. AI features and third-party services

Features such as Cella, bottle profiles, scans, and cellar insights use third-party search and AI providers to process your requests. When you use these features, the relevant wine, cellar, image, and request data may be sent to those providers. We do not include your name, email address, or account credentials in those requests.

We use the following third-party services:

Stripe for payment processing
Brave Search for wine research, source matching, and images
OpenRouter and the selected model provider for Cella, scans, profiles, insights, and wine-list recommendations
Perplexity for wine research and bottle-profile details

5. Data sharing and cellar sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your wine collection data is private by default. When you use the cellar sharing feature, the users you share with will be able to see the wines in your shared cellar according to the permissions you set.

When you choose to publicly share a wine or tasting note, that information will be accessible through a unique link to anyone who has it.

6. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit, secure password hashing, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can export your data at any time from your account settings. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and wine collection data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
