Save a wine to try
- Open Wishlist and choose Add wine.
- Use Search database to select a known wine, or Add manually to enter its name, producer and vintage. Manual entry here saves a wishlist item; it does not create a verified cellar wine.
- Set Priority and add a note explaining why you want it, such as “Enjoyed at dinner; look for the 2019 vintage.”
- Choose an Occasion if you want to group it, then save the item. It should appear in Wishlist without increasing your bottle count.
Group wines by occasion
Choose New occasion, enter Occasion name and save. For example, create “Autumn dinner” or the name of a restaurant visit, then select that occasion while adding or editing wishlist items.
Use Make active to choose the active occasion and End when it is finished. Check the occasion on each saved item rather than assuming all previous items have moved to the active one.
Edit or remove a saved item
Use the item’s edit icon to change its details, priority, notes or occasion, then save. Open Show wine details to inspect the information already attached to it.
Use Remove wishlist item and confirm to remove a wish you no longer need. This does not remove bottles from your cellar.
Remember a bottle with Relive on mobile
Open Relive in the mobile app and use Capture bottle to photograph a wine you want to remember. Set an Occasion if useful. Open the saved item’s Edit control to review its name, producer, vintage, notes and priority, then Save.
Relive uses the same wishlist as the website. Capturing a bottle there does not add it to owned stock. When you buy a linked wine, use Move to cellar, select a cellar and Quantity, then Move. Check the resulting stock before repeating the action.
Add a purchased wine to your cellar
- For a wishlist item linked to a SmartCellar wine, choose Add to cellar.
- Select the Cellar and enter the Quantity you bought, then confirm Add to cellar.
- Check the cellar count. If that wine already existed there, the purchased quantity is added to the existing stock. The wishlist item is removed after the successful move.
- If the item is not linked to a verified wine, use Add wine on the website to find or build the correct profile and add the purchase. Once you have checked the saved cellar entry, remove the old wishlist item yourself to avoid adding it twice.
