Find a known bottle
- Open My cellars and select the cellar you want to search.
- In Collection, type the wine name, producer or region in the search box. A short distinctive part of the name is often enough.
- Open the matching wine and confirm the vintage.
- Read its Location note or mapped bottle positions. Choose Open cellar layout to see where mapped bottles sit.
Choose from a group of wines
- Choose Filters.
- Select the colours, drinking-window statuses, regions, countries or grapes you want. Set a rating range only if it matters to your choice.
- Choose Apply filters. Your search text and filters work together, so adding more criteria can narrow the results further.
- Use the sort menu for Name, Vintage, Date added, Value or Rating. Switch between Card view and List view to suit how you browse.
If a wine seems to be missing
Clear the search text and remove active filters; Filters → Clear all resets the filter choices. Check the cellar you have open and try the producer name without a vintage or punctuation.
Check whether its quantity has reached zero after an opening or correction. Also check another cellar or an unaccepted sharing invitation before adding a replacement record. A wine hidden by filters has not been deleted.
A practical example
To find a red for tonight, filter Colour to Red and Drinking window to Ready to drink or At peak. Open a few results, compare your tasting notes and check the physical location before choosing one.
For an exact bottle position use Cellar layout; a list search is for finding the wine record, not assigning or moving its bottles.
